I admire a lot of things about my blogger buddy-turned-schoolmate-turned-good friend Mimi. One of them is her ability to just casually chat up anyone she meets randomly, whether while studying in Starbucks, or lining up at the grocery store. And no matter who that stranger is, he or she responds [...] I talked about the Past. I talked about the Future. You know where this is going. Time to talk about the Present. I’m not actually in the right mind and attitude to talk about the present, because I’m still all hyped up about being back in school. I’ve missed [...] I once wrote in a college application that I wanted to study Judaism. It wasn’t a ploy to make myself more interesting and diverse to the college administrators; I really was (and am) very interested in Judaism and Jewish history. I would have liked to take classes on Judaism in college, except with my double-minor [...] I was hit by a serious case of lethargy yesterday. Ever have one of those days? Those days when you feel like you’ve been struck with paralysis…brain paralysis, I mean. You don’t wanna move, you don’t wanna talk, you don’t wanna read. You just want to sit still and…I don’t [...] |
