If you wander into some of the parks, you can find people just sitting and being alone with the city. Finding people in the street? Not likely. New Yorkers dont stop for people. We are always in a rush...sometimes to go home and put pajamas on. Its just the nature of hte beast. But now that you are here dearie, maybe we should try to meet up for dinner. I am in the process of moving (BLECH!) and should be settled in Williamsburg by the first weekend in June. And if we cannot meet for dinner, please visit Otto Enoteca Pizzeria on one fifth Avenue. Its a batali joint. great food at really great prices. Dishes you must not miss: eggplant caponatina, roasted beets with horse radish, rigatoni con escarole and sausage, and the tacozette con stracotto. Also, the banana tartufo for dessert. I was in the hospital in december at 79 pounds, and yes weight gain was veryyyyyy hard for me. I gained it all in my stomach at first, it was horrible!!!!! It really did look like a pot belly that was my worst part I think. I had never had a belly even before I had anorexia and weighed120. I even had abs so this is killing me, the weight gain won't stop, it's freaking me out, I exercise a lot I go running and do situs but it doesn't seem to do anything, it's so frustrating.
