Whenever I buy PB with oil on the top I dump the entire contents into a bowl and mix it with a spatula. If its unsalted I usually add my own fresh sea salt to the mix. Then refrigerate. Makes for some damn good PB! (Mixing the oil BACK into the PB is what makes it so good. And its not like its added oil either- its the naturals oils from the peanuts that separate.) P.S. Gah I love plantains. And its funny because as a kid the only way my parents actually got me to eat real spaghetti and red sauce and meatballs, (hated it as a kid) was with sliced banana on top!
